Klondike Solitaire is the Granddaddy of all solitaire card games. If you thought there was only one kind of solitaire card game, the game you've been playing all these years is probably Klondike Solitaire. In Klondike Solitaire, the player is dealt cards into 7 columns, each column with one more card than the column preceeding it. Only the top card in each of the columns is turned face up. In order to turn over a face down card, the player must remove all the cards on top of it. The player builds down t he columns alternating color, and builds up the foundations by suit. When the player has built up the four foundations from Ace to King by suit, he wins the game.
